This is what I do, I run Parallels 9 on my iMac and can play it as well as anyone on a low spec PC, I get 30-40fps but like everyone else had to turn the graphics right down to stop it crashing. There are also VMs (Virtual Machines) that allow you to run windows on a Mac. You can also try Apples Bootcamp which basically turns your Mac into a dual boot machine.
Still if it works then that's one advantage it has over the WG version.
There has been no word from WG about possibly fixing this issue at this time, fingers crossed patch 9.1 will fix it but I'm not holding my breath.Īlternatively there are other wrappers out there, Paul The Tall has one that worked with earlier versions and there have been some reports that it works with patch 9.0, but the quality is not as good as the "official" wrapper.
